From: Katharine McPhee Date: Mar 22, 2008 2:36 PM Hey guys. Wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Easter weekend. I have been reading through a lot of the messages and thank you for letting me know how much you enjoyed the performance. I was really excited. I couldn't be happier and am really looking forward to the future. Have a great weekend. Lots of love, kat

Happy Easter All!
"YOU GO GIRL"
HAPPY EASTER KATHARINE
Wow, Kat really is being more than true to her word about staying in touch.
Thanks Kat, the fans so very much appreciate hearing from you!
Happy Easter to you and Nick and your families.
Did you not have faith in her Mr. C? I think the wedding stuff preoccupied her time more than we all realized. And from how it looks she was doing some "work-related" stuff that we didn't know about in and out over that period as well.
I hope she lets us know how the album making process is going. Doesn't have to be really detailed...just that it's going well and things like that.
Did you not have faith in her Mr. C?
Of course Joe!
But it never fails to impress me these days when someone delivers more than promised.
Kat is the only celebrity I'm aware of who wishes people a Happy Whatever--especially on holidays that usually mean a "closed" sign on everything. With other celebrities, they consider their MySpace or official site to be a business that needs to send everybody home early on Christmas Eve or Easter Morning. Kat turns out to be the boss who enjoys being in the office (no, we won't use the word workaholic here)--even though the internet only requires a few minutes of time to hang around. She understands this and doesn't make it beneath her to take those few minutes to wish Happy Easter to the fans...who, ironically, were probably off at church or celebrating with their family and may have missed Kat's message yesterday morning.
And while Kat is one-of-a-kind in keeping in contact with the fans, she's a master of PR now (thanks to that "media training" that she probably could have figured out on her own). "Looking forward to the future" is the most brilliant thing to say without giving away secrets that will start a wildfire of rumor.
The keywords here of "happy" and "future" tells us everything. The only question is the degree of how happy and...how long into the future...
