Katharine being cute and adorable again. Something I can never get tired of. She watched Christina when she was 14 and now look where she's at? She's doing exactly what she envyed of Christina. It's amazing, if you dream, anything can happen. I'm so happy for Katharine, she's living her dream and is in this music business purely for the love of singing for her fans instead of just money. You got to love this girl. Thanks CRB for posting these videos up, I wish I could do what you do but I don't have computer smarts like you do.

You have to sit and wait through the VSpot loading page first (the first thing you see)--and then it goes to the video page where (surprise!) car commercials start playing on the video player. Though there's a box to the right that shows info about each Kat interview with a picture of Kat on each one. Unfortunately, you can't skip through the car commercials like you can on DVD (and even rental DVD's force you to watch commercials now)--then both videos of Kat's interview play back-to-back. Aren't you on dialup, Groucho? If so, that opening VSpot page may take forever to load. It takes about 30 seconds even on high-speed. (Yes, that's forever in the high speed world now. ) Thanks for providing those interviews--even though they're quite short. Kat's relaxed again (and sitting with her legs up) on a couch as if shooting the breeze with a good friend. It's great to see her talk like this, because she's able to come up with some astute answers when she's in this relaxed state of mind. Interesting that she didn't really go to live concerts before she was 14--though perhaps Dan and Peisha were overprotective of her for good reason. At least Kat doesn't blame them for anything...because there's lots of young girls who go to concerts just with their friends and sometimes get into trouble. And, besides, seeing Christina Aguilera as your first concert at 14 would leave a stronger impression on you...especially if you're a young girl wanting to be a singer. That seemed to be perfect timing in forming Kat's vocal influences...save Mariah playing on her little kid tape recorder several years earlier. I wonder if Kat heard Mariah's first hit 'Vision of Love' in 1990 on the radio? I remember hearing that the first day it was released to radio and sensing Mariah would be the next big thing. The other interview on here is just Kat talking about how 'AI' can help you form yourself into an artist. I agree with that--and it seems urgency will help you create your own style much faster as a performer than you would if floundering out pounding the pavement in the showbiz audition world.

Greg, nothing like what you describe shows up on my screen. I lost dialup long ago. So far, after trawling around the site, I've heard Daughtry's video, saw something involving some guy in a black t-shirt and his fighting kids, and a lot of other stuff I'm not much interested in. Nary a sign of Katharine.
