There is no way Kat's cd can fail. Every song on the album could potentially be a hit. It is the first album I have bought in a long time that I love every song and don't feel the the need to skip one. The only thing that could fail this album is big publicity mistakes. They need to get the video to Over It out soon.

Well said... I totally agree, this is the first CD in a LONG time that I prefer to listen to all the way through, instead of picking selected tracks. One of the best all around CD's in a long, long time.

Every aspect (vocals, production, engineering/mastering) of this CD is well done and a very special outcome for a debut CD. The way the industry works in terms of the weekly competition, is the only factor that could push it off the charts, but if handled properly, by releasing timely singles and videos, it should be around for a long time.

A tour of some sort would pump up sales if only because Katharine is such a great stage performer. I agree that large venues are not the right thing for her, but a national tour of club dates could be arranged.
. or the opening act for a better-known performer would open her up to an entirely new group of fans. I'm not sure even if this has been discussed. BSH would probably bankroll a large part of a promo tour.

I think we had a thread about this earlier, and everyone just about decided she shouldn't tour with anyone who's in a similar vein artistically because she might give them a bit of competition. But the way she's going, it will take somebody pretty big to deserve the first place on the bill (in my highly prejudiced opinion).
