The Daily News has reported that “American Idol” executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz promises a big event midway through the coming season of the red-hot talent show - but she won’t say what it is. “If there’s one thing that makes ‘American Idol’ so big, it’s a huge event,” she told the Daily News.
“Something we’re working on is a big-event show, sometime in the middle of the season, something that will blow America away,” she added.
So what exactly will this “Event that will blow America Away” be? Any thoughts from the Idol Fans? Leave a little comment with your ideas. I am thinking it will be a Idol Reunion where all the previous winners come back for one night and perform or even guest judge giving Simon, Paula and Randy the night off.
My guess? Kelly Clarkson comes back to American Idol. I think her third album is due out sometime in the spring. That's just an educated guess. Boy wouldn't it be great to have their chart-topping females all on the same show.
KELLY CLARKSON, FANTASIA, CARRIE UNDERWOOD AND KATHARINE MCPHEE! Maybe Jennifer Hudson could come back too since she's a movie star now. And possibly an Oscar winner.
Who cares about that? I hate the group songs. It's OK if there's say three people max because at least everyone can show themselves off but when they'd do those numbers with all 20 of them early on. Those are terrible. I wanna see MY favorite sing. I don't want them to have to share time.
