Well, no wonder it was a "boy's year". However, it does give me so much more respect for Kat for overcoming such an unfair and completely unnecessary disadvantage. I mean, what century are we living in?

Also, from here on out, Clive Davis should be BANNED from picking songs. Stick to your day job, bud. 'Nuff said.

It's tough finding female guest starts that have relatively gender-neutral songs. Carole King comes to mind, but I doubt she's still performing. Clive Davis had good picks last year, and actually IBICF wasn't a really bad choice for Kat. She could have done better with it, but she was too nervous. I have a feeling that she won't be nervous this week though!
