They just said next week Kat will be performing on the show. I cant believe the time has finally come where she is going to be promoting the album!!! and my DVR is starting to show the schedule of appearances by Kat. I'm so freakin excited! Daughtry is on TRL right now....fyi lol

I am nervous as heck because I want to compile a dvd for all these promotional appearances and there are so many of them that I am afraid I am going to mess it up and forget to record something. I have to do my research of actual times so I could pre-set everything on my puter.

The show apparently must still be on--even though someone said here recently that it was canceled. I didn't think that sounded right, because the format is still as popular as ever. The only difference it appears is that you vote via internet for videos rather than giving your phone a nervous breakdown. Thank God for that, because voting for Kat again via phone would have just provided too many flashbacks. Besides, my phone needs to work off some holiday flab... Well, I have no idea how Kat will be showing a video on TRL next week when one hasn't been made yet that we're aware. I guess it'll just be a promotional appearance for the album (and for fans to keep her in mind for an upcoming video), which is good enough. Maybe they'll have her sing live on the show. I don't think they usually do that, though, do they? I haven't watched TRL in a couple of years. Since going one year out of their demographic this year...I've suddenly been walking around invisible and never buy any hip products. Actually, didn't Kat say in her vid blog from today that she's filming the video this weekend? I temporarily forgot that she said that, so it won't be too long of a wait. Though I'm sure they won't get it on the air by the middle of next week. Maybe they'll show some footage of it being filmed while she's there to get appetites whetted. Then again, with the ease of video editing technology today...it makes you wonder if a music vid couldn't be filmed, edited and virtually completed in a week's time.

How could Kat be on TRL Monday when she's doing Leno later that day? Or, did she say in that chat (that started abruptly while talking about Leno) that she's going to fly to NYC to do TRL (yes, remember it's done there and not L.A.)--then get on a plane and fly back to L.A. for the Leno taping? I heard her say something about flying back out to do Leno or something at the beginning of the video from the chat. That means another situation like what happened at the J.C. Penney Jams event last June. If there's any flight delays back to L.A....then Bill Cosby may just have to keep talking until Kat arrives. So pray for no winter weather to suddenly strike at the airports back east Monday afternoon. That's risky in January... Well, I guess they do have live feeds from L.A. once in a while for TRL. Maybe they'll just be talking to her via satellite. I don't know why that can't be done (even performing) rather than putting Kat through the wear and tear of flying all the way to NYC just for that. Though it wouldn't be complete without seeing Kat doing the double wave out that giant window to crazed fans down on the street. If Kat wants to see her true crazed fans...that's where she'll see them...out that window at a safe distance. This will give me a chance to catch up on what's been up at TRL since I last watched about two years ago. I remember the studio remodel a couple years back...but I don't know who's hosting now.

I went to TRL in early november, the set is unbelievably small, they make it look big on tv!! The hosts' name is Damien Fahey, I know him because his mom is my art teacher (she loves me) hehe he calls her in class all the time, I've talked to him twice ( I'm not gonna lie, I felt special ) so can anyone find out if shes actually going to physically be there? Because maybe Ms. Fahey and Damien could hook me up hehe... oh boy would I love to see Kat again!!

^Oh yeah, Damien Fahey's been on there for a while. He tried out for the 'Late, Late Show' gig after Craig Kilborn left there a few years ago--but Craig Ferguson got the job instead. DF looked like the clean-cut new graduate trying out for a late-night show. But he did a good job when he auditioned/hosted 'Late, Late Show' from what I remember. Good luck on getting in to TRL or any of the other shows. We're all excited seeing Kat on TV--but seeing all the members from this board in the audience is going to require a head count in the next two weeks. So, those of you in the audience--act wild as hell on TV so we can find you easy enough.

so it's definitely Feb. 5th?? I went on the MTV website but that thing never works for me... It would be so much better for Kat if it was Feb 5th so she doesn't have to go from coast to coast!! Oh If I go, you'll see me! haha I'm planing on buying like a flourescent (?) shirt and writing I love Katharine.... so she can't miss me! The thing that sucks about being on TRL is it's so RIDICULOUSLY strict its unbelievable!! You can't have pens, paper, cell phones, cameras, keys, purses... OH and no gum its crazy!! So I dunno if Kat will be able to sign autographs or anything... but if anyone is planning on going, we should all totally meet up or something!! I'll talk to Mrs. Fahey (the host's mom) tomorrow at school for the details if anyone's interested...
