Kat looks stunning in that clip--and I like the fact that she has her hair back to the way we're used to seeing it. It's really Kat at the best you could possibly ask for. There's nothing to complain about with her voice. It's just fine as it is right now and can't imagine it any more powerful or more pure.

Yes, she's definitely lost weight a little. But I think that may have happened while she was sick. Antiobiotics usually zap your appetite. Though I think Kat's probably minding her diet while on the road--she may gain a few later when it's hard to get ahold of healthy food when touring.

Everybody needs to see this as soon as possible--so everyone go in the Media thread and watch/comment. If Kat only did this in every show for the rest of the tour, it'd be more than satisfying. Imagine hearing her for two hours in a solo tour.

Time for my phone to get back into the gym when ordering tickets for her solo concert tour next summer...

yea, i was just talking about that with Vadia. I noticed it with DC too. It's not working. Kat if you are listening we love you but it doesn't fit.

must be the new 'live' arrangement. As I'm sure yu know, it's usually done to 'lift' the ending of a song. An old 'trick'.

yea, vadia said they were trying to give her a moment, but that the song isn't about that. in fact, the whole song is a kat moment.

I'm not a musician but I agree that the "key change isn't working".  IMO her stretching towards the high notes on OTR or any song,  is putting more stress on her vocal chords. Anyway, Kat singing in the low to midrange pitch? sounds better too.

Kat just being there is the great moment for the phans!

im really bothered with the key change. it really doesnt... sound good to me... i dont know if you guys agree with me... but still, love the fact that kat is doing the studio version in these numbers.

I think that Kat performing is a wondrous thing, no matter what she's singing, or how she sings it. Just watching her is enough for me. This girl is the real thing, she's just warming up. Be prepared to be blown away, when she's full strength. Nothing can compare to her voice, it's the most beautiful sound I've ever heard.

Doesn't work for me either. I noticed it at the DC concert. I thought perhaps she had made a mistake and was mixing up the AI version with the CD version or that she was switching from one to the other.

I guess she has to do the CD version to promote it, I'm sure she prefers the AI version as this is what she did on The View.

I wish she would just do the AI version but hey, it's Kat singing SOTR, can't complain!
