Katharine emailed at 5:40pm EST to tell us her flight was delayed because of severe weather. She had been there for over 5 hours. |

That all makes sense because i live in ohio about and hour and a half away from pittsburgh and it stormed here...so no one can say she was lying or it isn't true! But that stinks. If she missed the concert that would be terrible. She already missed like 3 weeks from an illness and now she has to miss it because of a storm. I hope she made it okay. |

The weather in the NY area looks horrible (for flying that is). That's really too bad, but it's very commonplace for afternoon flights to be weather delayed in and out of NYC airports this time of year. I have no idea what airline Kat is flying, but Continental has canceled all remaining flights to Pittsburgh, so the situation doesn't look favorable.

oh no. well we don't want kat dying in a plane crash, so it's for the best. it's the airlines job to determine whether it's safe to fly. i am not going to second guess their decisions. |

I was just coming to let you guys know this. I'm on a play by play on another board & the caller indicated signs on the door that she would not be performing tonight. No mention if it was due to voice issues or a delayed flight. I'm still following the PBP, so I'll let you know if she does make it.
