Ratings for "The Surprise Party" (1st Saturday episode): 0.5 in the demo, 1.88 million total viewers. Those are preliminary numbers, but most sites don't bother with posting the finals for Saturday ratings, so that's probably all we'll get unless it shows up in the DVR Top 25.
The NCAA Basketball Final Four earned an approximate 5.1 in the demo with 15.92 million total viewers, so it likely sucked up a lot of the oxygen. The Voice repeat got a 0.7 in the demo, so Smash didn't have a great lead-in. |

Personally, the Sat 9pm timeslot works much better for me ... I had to miss a few episodes because the late weeknight slot was bedtime for my kid. It's too bad that the new time is the graveyard of shows now. If Smash had been given a 9pm timeslot on Tuesday or another prime viewing day, maybe it would've done better in the ratings, as the show didn't really have the adult content to deserve the 10pm time (other than that infamous motorboat scene)... |

Ready For Love has been canceled after 2 episodes. Unfortunately Smash is not being moved back to Tuesdays. Grimm will move to Tuesdays at 10 starting April 30. Dateline will replace it on Fridays |

Smash ratings for "Opening Night": .4 in the demo (flat), 1.91 million total viewers (up slightly from last week's 1.8 million total viewers).
The "That's Life" duet with Kat and Megan is at #133 on iTunes overall chart. |

I read that too katsfan, but KMC was monitoring the rise and as far as we could tell, it got as high as 114. Perhaps some internal iTunes thing had it go higher. |

FYI, this NBC photo site: http://nbcumv.com/mediavillage/netw...ash/photos is apparently saying the season finale will be 2hrs and on Sunday May 26, 9-11pm ET. I don't consider this official at this point so take it with a huge grain of salt. |

For the next few episodes, Smash will be on at 8pm Saturdays instead of 9pm.
Per TVLine (http://tvline.com/2013/04/24/smash-...-may-26/), the 2 hr finale will be on SUNDAY, MAY 26 from 9-11pm ET. It's looking like the finale will be the last 2 episodes, #16 and #17. As far as I can tell, the show will not be shown May 18 for reasons that aren't known at this time. BTW, May 26 is after the regular TV season (which ends May 23) and is just before Memorial Day, which is a holiday, so hopefully most of you can stay up and watch the show. |
