Smash related in an awful kind of way. I must say, although I am retired and have plenty of time, it would probably not occur to me to watch a show I found really awful, for any reason. it would just seem like a waste of time. More of the same, fun comments. some people can actually distinguish between the actors and their characters, which doesn't always seem apparent from reading comments. One guy says he likes both Katharine and Megan but prefers MH as a singer, still hopes Karen gets her revenge on Ivy next year! I think ONE person has said they might miss Ellis. And it wasn't me, although I will. I guess I'm just used to him.

A Marilyn photo gallery. #11 is the only one that looks like Norma Jean. The others are all Marilyn, on the town, on tour, or posing more o rless in character. And she did seem to think of MM as a character she played for the public, even referring to her in the third person. Christian Borle just won a Tony!  Something told me not to switch channels so I got to see it. Okay, I'm officially nuts, but it felt like someone in the family got it. I'll watch TrueBlood at eleven.

And a propos of almost nothing at all, Steve Kazee (Megan Hilty's ex) just won one as well. And Bernadette Peters got an honorary that I totally can't remember the name of. And Nick Jonas was a presenter. Smash Family Night at the Tonys. It's obviously time to go weed the back yard and get back to reality. |

Smash family night, indeed. Leslie Odoms Jr. was in the musical number for Leap of Faith. And Manny Azenberg ("You don't have to take our money, Eileen.") won a 2012 Special Tony Award, Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre. |

The peacock network managed rate increases of about 6%.
Advertisers were most interested in buying time in NBC's highest-rated program, "Sunday Night Football," as well as its hit singing competition "The Voice" and "Smash", the high-profile drama about the making of a Broadway show. NBC runs nearly 22 hours of prime-time programs. |
