Hello All! 
I just heard back from Peisha. JandeCBS and I both emailed her about the Kit Kat Project as a fun way to let Idol know how much Kat was missed this season. She thinks its a great idea and thanks everyone for requesting Kat next season and for all our hard work on her behalf. What a Sweetie!! See message below. Several fans are locating the addresses of the executives to target and we will post all the info on this thread. Please pass the word and get other Kat fans involved. This is a fun and non-confrontational way to get our point across to the decision makers at Idol. Rock on and stay tuned!

We are also trying to locate the best address for Clive Davis. He has so many affiliations. J Records, BMG, etc. Let's see what we can find on him. My inbox is full of messages. The McPhans are excited about the project and want to communicate our disappointment in a respectful and fun way. I'll keep Peisha posted on our progress!

So far I have heard back from 10 fans of Taylor or Chris who are going to do it. I think we should also get as many of them as possible to let TPTB that not only Kat's fans are disgusted. LOVE THE LOGO!!!!! |

One of our friends who has a wonderful Idol Addicts website has just posted a message on there that because of the treatment Idol gives its former contestants, and her disgust over it, she is no longer going to be posting on it. I'm not going to give her name because I'll let her do it, but she is a friend to all of us on here. There are so many angry people, I think we're going to be surprise at how many people participate in our little protest. I just recruited 20 more fans of Kat and Idol who don't post on here. |

Thanks Britt! You're a jewel! YAY!! Jim has been a huge help too. I just read the comments listed on that US Magazine article. Very depressing. We need some positive press for our girl!
Here's where we can order Kit Kats in bulk - Also talked to Hershey this afternoon. They gave me a number to call tomorrow about orders. I'll keep you posted.

Great find, Bill! That's a better price than what I found. I'd be happy to go in with other people for the bulk rate. Let's investigate and see who wants to do it. Just got the email below. WOW!! You have all been busy little bees and coming up with great ideas!! I LOVE IT!! Thanks for the emails. Yes, Co Baby - let's contact Joy at The View and also Kelly at Regis and Kelly would be another good choice. They are both Kat fans and speak out when people are treated unfairly. Everybody pitch in and email as many contacts in the media who could give Kat some positive press on this situation.
PROJECT UPDATE - I bought Kit Kat bars in bulk today and now I'm working on my packages. I got special large labels at OfficeMax so I can put our "colored logo" on the outside of the package which will make sure that anyone seeing the package will know the purpose of our correspondence without even reading the letter enclosed. Those who can, do the same. If you can't afford large labels, just print it off on your computer and glue and/or tape it on. The link to the logo label is below on my photobucket account. I'll post pics when they are ready!! This is fun!! LOL
I'm sending packages individually and also plan to order some bulk shipments from Katharinefans.com - several people have emailed regarding a contribution to the project. Let me know which you prefer!

I'm planning on sending some packages myself and ALSO ordering several boxes from Candy Pros Wholesale Distributors as Bcollan suggested here on KMF. Those orders will be from katharinefans.com. They send them overnight with an ice pack for cooling purposes.
Several people have emailed me offering contributions to the Kit Kat Project. If you would would like to contribute to what will be mailed from Candy Pros, just email and let me know. I'm registered at Pay Pal or you can just send a check. I'd like to send a box of 36 for $19.95 to each of the addresses. I'll keep you posted once everything is arranged!

The publicity that this Kit Kat idea might generate makes it more interesting. It would also be great if blogs & other media that write about it mention that Kat has an album out. It could help sell more copies. |

American Idol snubbed Katharine McPhee during the season and the finale* “Katharine called them herself, trying to get on the [finale],” a source close to the singer tells Us. “She’s really hurt.”
What’s up with that? She called and they still didn’t invite her or allow her to come? How rude! Anyways, some of her hardcore fans have gotten together and created this Kit Kat logo and are sending the candies and a note out to all the Idol execs to show their disappointment in the show and their support for Katharine. Kat’s mom Peisha McPhee is even giving the thumbs up on ‘Project Kit Kat!’

KitKat Project update from Teilah:
We are placing bulk orders for boxes of Kit Kat bars to be mailed to our list of contacts with a message saying how much Kat was missed this season, etc. I am using my own Credit Card with Candy Pros Wholesale Distributors and Kat fans who want to contribute can help to reimburse me. The boxes are mailed overnight and with an ice pack for cooling purposes. The same enclosed message will be sent with each box. I'm also mailing individual packages with a letter and lots of other fans are too.
