KATHARINE MCPHEE will join Andrea Bocelli Saturday December 5th for a very special "My Christmas" concert!

The Winners Club will be open to the public at 6:00 PM for Andrea Bocelli on December 5.

On the heels of his highly anticipated CD, My Christmas, Andrea Bocelli has announced his fall/winter U.S. tour which includes a stop at the IZOD Center December 5.
The tour will celebrate much of the repertoire the classical crossover singer has made world-famous over his incredible career as well as music from his upcoming release My Christmas, giving his fans a wonderful welcoming to the holidays.

Too bad Kat didn't make it onto the cd/dvd with Bocelli.PBS has already aired My Christmas.

We don't usually see fan videos from stuff like this but maybe it will show up on the performers' websites? Didn't we find stuff on Bocelli's and Cody Karey's or however you spell him? |

Beg to differ...as time goes by,we seem to be getting more fan videos.Sometimes they emerge a year after the fact,like the T.Boone Pickens' birthday party video.
Of course,at many concerts, people are advised not to use any recording devices...so we need a daring New Jersey rebel.Kat fans were certainly not given much notice for this one. |

I should repost this in the Media section in case somebody looks there. No time right now but holy &^%%$$ I love watching those two together. The magic just takes over. No matter who else he sings with, you just see something different with him an dKatharine. I wonder if that little dance was planned or spontaneous? I mean you surely shouldn't just grab a blind guy and start waltzing him around, but he sure didn't seem to mind, he was grinning from ear to ear. They seem to have that effect on each other. |

I believe it goes unsaid that his performance was amazing. In his usual form, the first half of the show he sang songs from his classical repertoire and the second half from his newest album. And we were also lucky enough to see the fabled wardrobe change as he slipped out of his black tux into his all white outfit that we have all recently become so familiar with. One of my favorite moments was during Blue Christmas in which he shared a duet with Katharine Mcphee. About half way into the song during some instrumentals she snuck in a quick slow dance which brought out one of the most beautiful smiles I have over seen on his face. The chemistry between them was wonderful and brought a smile to everyones face. Unlike the veteran sopranos and superstars Andrea usually performs with, Mcphee is relatively new to the scene and she brought a real sense of newness and excitement that I think everyone enjoyed, especially Andrea. At the end of another performance he even grabbed her and picked her up for a hug! Another special moment was Andrea's performance of Ave Maria where he played the piano himself. It's incredible to see how much talent this man has inside him and how lucky we all are that he has decided to share it with us.
So no mention of anyone else getting a dance or a lift

It is great that Katharine is associated with such a popular performer. Reading some more of that review it sounds like he got very geniune and extended appreciation from the audience with 3 encores and a curtain call, far beyond the polite and obligatory encore that someone famous gets just for being famous.

The overwhelming excitement and warmth that fills every part of your being. The feeling of total completeness and contentment.
For all of those who have this incredible experience ahead of them, I envy you. If you are anything like me, this will be a night that you will never forget and that will live vividly in your memory forever.
And to Andrea himself. I don't believe the words exist in English or Italian to say what I want to say to you. But I can say from the bottom of my heart that I love you. Thank you for everything.
I GOT THE FEELING THE REVIEWER DIDN'T REALIZE THAT KATHARINE AND A.B. HAD A LONG STANDING ASSOCIATION.
