• 21 July 2009 - Kat's new CD title changed to Unbroken

Katharine McPhee's new CD has a new title, and a new official relesae date. Available both as a CD and a CD/DVD combo, Unbroken is now sheduled for an October 6 debut.

 • 9 July 2009 - Kat announces the release date for her new CD

Katharine McPhee has just announced that her new CD will be released on September 22. Her sophomore effort will be released under the Verve label and is tentatively titled Long Way From Home.

• 4 July 2009 - Kat performs at NYC Macy's July 4th Fireworks Spectacular

Katharine McPhee is performing with an all-star cast including Jewel, Kenny Chesney Jordin Sparks and Rob Thomas at 9pm on NBC as the spectacular Macy's fireworks explode over the Hudson River.

• 23 March 2009 - Kat to perform at DC Memorial Day Concert

Katharine McPhee has just announced that she will be performing  at the Washington DC Memorial Day concert, to be held on the west lawn of the US Capital Building, from 8:00pm-11:00pm, Sunday May 24th. 

 • 23 Feb 2009 - Kat to appear on CSI:NY April 8th

Katharine McPhee has been in NY filming on location for her dramatic acting debut on the April 8th episode of   CSI: NY Kat has previously appeared on  Ugly Betty  playing herself. 

• 13 Feb 2009 - Kat to begin filming Wedlock in Hawaii

Katharine McPhee will begin filming the independant film Wedlock on location in Hawaii mid-March. Kat will be starring opposite Brothers & Sisters star Dave Annable in the romantic comedy. Annable plays a pet photographer who ties the knot with a mobster's daughter who needs U.S. citizenship and has an eventful honeymoon.

• 27 Jan 2009 - Kat announces label signing

Katharine McPhee today announced that she has signed a record deal with the Verve label, a division of Universal Music Group, the world's leading music company. She is currently working on a new album due out later this year. Go Kat!!!
